“Our mission is to achieve solutions to Colorado water quality
issues through communication and understanding,
balancing use, and protection of the resource.”

Forum membership is seeking input on the draft core values document. Core values set the standard for conduct, serve as a cultural cornerstone, and guide future actions. Your input is essential to making the Forum a strong and relevant organization. Please send all comments to Lisa Carlson, Facilitator, by December 1, 2014. Contact information is at the bottom of the page.
The Colorado Water Quality Forum was created in 1992 to provide an opportunity for an ongoing informal dialogue among diverse parties representing a broad spectrum of stakeholder interests in water quality management. Participants include water suppliers, industrial and municipal dischargers, environmental groups, and federal, state, and local governmental agencies.
Forum meetings are facilitated by the University of Colorado at Denver Center for Public-Private Sector Cooperation, funded through participant contributions. To date, the Forum has experienced considerable success in improving communication among stakeholders and fostering a more cooperative approach in the administrative and legislative consideration of difficult water quality issues.
